Ageing and Longevity
As societies age, the provision of services for Long Term Care (LTC) is one of the most debated issue for European countries. Research and action research on LTC models is focused on institutional design, funding, integration models and service delivery, with the aim to develop actionable knowledge to improve both policy making and service provision in this domain.
LTC research goes hand in hand with studies assessing the impact of the longevity paradigm. We are questioning how to promote healthy ageing societies and use the longevity paradigm to innovate LTC services.
The research conducted in this area is closely linked with the activities of the Observatory on Long Term Care.
