The area analyses the role and relevance of management on to the health care system performance with a focus on  health care organisation, health outcomes and costs of providing care.

The main strands of research area are:

• Governance, strategy, leadership

• Levels of care (clinical path, primary care)

• Financial and accounting management, evaluation of the performance

• Value Chain (operations,  ICT and E-health, quality and risk management)
