Michela Meregaglia is Researcher of Heath Economics & HTA at the Government, Health and Not for Profit (GHNP) Division at SDA Bocconi. She is also contracted Professor at the University of Eastern Piedmont, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
She holds a PhD in Health Economics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (UK) and a Master of Science in Economics and Management from Bocconi University.
Her main areas of research include economic evaluation of healthcare programmes, health technology assessment (HTA), decision analytical modelling, cost-of-illness analyses, health-related quality of life measurement and health state utility estimation, preference elicitation methods in healthcare, market access and pricing & reimbursement.
She is member of: the Italian Health Economics Association (AIES), the Scientific Committee of the Master in "Regulatory Disciplines and Market Access in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industry" (University of Estern Piedmont), the Topics Board of the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, and the Editorial Board of the journal Frontiers in Health Services (speciality section: Health Policy and Management).
