At Fast Forward Foundation, we drive the sustainable and inclusive transformation of welfare systems to safeguard individuals and communities. We aim at developing pioneering synergies at the crossroad between social protection, healthcare, and digital payments. Through the collaboration with national and international organizations (European Commission and OECD), we produce research analyses, organize co-design workshops, and implement innovative pilot projects to accelerate the transformation of welfare systems and shape the future of our society.

“Finding unexplored pathways for the integration of welfare systems”

The project consists in a scientific overview of the integrated welfare domain, to be carried out through the following activities:

Elaboration of a comprehensive review of the scientific literature in the integrated welfare field
(Healthcare, social protection, financial inclusion);
Identification of unexplored fields, research gaps and experimental lines with a view to future
projects and initiatives of the Foundation.
Production of a report with the main insights and information about the main evidence.

To obtain data and materials, the students will have the opportunity to access to the Foundation’s

stakeholders, including in other nonprofit entities, private providers, public institutions, and the Foundation’s founder (BFF Banking Group) employees, and to delve into the world of integrated welfare, which is going to obtain increasing attention from institutions in future years. The systematic review and the project overall will serve as a solid basis to build an expertise in research analyses and will constitute an added value for any student interested research career, also in view of the drafting of the final dissertation. In addition, the students will have the possibility to present the systematic review and the report the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
