COMED Final Conference
The COMED project is an ambitious research initiative aimed to tangibly improve decision-making process, by providing a rigorous evidence base on some of the most pressing issues concerning evaluation, diffusion and use of medical devices in Europe.
Over more than three years of intensive research endeavor, a consortium of 6 European universities strived to develop scientifically sound recommendations on the use of real world data and surrogate outcomes in the evaluation of medical devices, to develop methods for assessment of mHealth apps, to give a comprehensive answers on the main drivers of clinical practice variations across Europe, and to develop adequately researched policy advice for the early assessment and coverage with evidence development policies in the field of medical devices, taking into account the varying availability of resources across different contexts in Europe.
This webinar will be a unique occasion to share the final results of the COMED project and discuss the implications of on health policy making with a distinguished panel of guest speakers.
