INEQUALITIES AND VULNERABLE POPULATIONS

Inequalities are increasingly characterizing modern societies. When discussing access to welfare and healthcare services, inequalities in access to and outcome of interventions and solutions are often influenced by how services are designed and managed.​

Our research on inequalities focuses on analyzing the determinants and consequences of these disparities for fragile and vulnerable populations, with the aim of supporting policymakers and organizations in implementing solutions that address inequalities and promote social inclusion.​

When dealing with vulnerable populations, our research addresses homelessness, migration, poverty, disabilities and any form of discrimination and disadvantage due to individual characteristics with the aim to improve welfare and healthcare services accessibility.  ​
