Pacileo Guglielmo

Collaborator
Guglielmo Pacileo is the Quality Head of the Alessandria Local Health Authority and is a Collaborator of CeRGAS, SDA Bocconi School of Management.
He is the Director of the Alessandria Local Health Authority/Alessandria Hospital Centre for Health Management Studies. Guglielmo also teaches at the Faculty of Medicine of the Università del Piemonte Orientale.
Guglielmo is an MD and holds a PhD in Bioethics.
He is a researcher and an expert in global health policies and healthcare management. His research focuses on evaluating health policies and their impact on vulnerable populations, as well as on developing models for the effective management of resources for healthcare.
Trinchero Elisabetta

Elisabetta Trinchero is Associate Professor of Practice in Public Management at SDA Bocconi School of Management (GHNP Division).
Elisabetta earned a Ph.D. at Southern Cross University, a 4 year degree in Economics, and a second level Specialized Master from Bocconi University. Her research activities focus on strategic crisis management, risk and sustainability management in public service organizations.
She is the author of numerous books and articles on her research subjects. Her works have been published in Plos One, Public Management Review, Public Money & Management, Economia & Management, and Mecosan, among others.
An AMARIS researcher, she collaborates with Southern Cross University.

Saporito Raffaella

Raffaella Saporito is Associate Professor of Practice in the Government, Health and Not for Profit (GHNP) Division at SDA Bocconi School of Management.
Raffaella earned a MA in Political Sciences from SciencesPo Paris, an MPM (Public Management) from SDA Bocconi School of Management, and a PhD in Public Management from University of Parma.
Her main research agenda within welfare domain focuses on public, affordable, and social housing for different target of beneficiaries: she has been working on public housing policy, public agencies, and housing service strategy, governance and redesign.
She is PI of a Fondazione Cariplo Grant on Public Housing and Inequalities and Director of a research project on the Italian widespread reception system for Ukrainian refugees in collaboration with the Italian Civil Protection Department.
Preti Luigi Maria

Luigi Preti is Junior Lecturer in Healthcare Management at SDA Bocconi School of Management (GHNP Division).
He is member of CeRGAS' Observatory on Privately Financed Health Consumption (OCPS).
He earned a a BSc in Economics and Social Sciences and an MSc in Economics and Management of Government and International Organizations from Bocconi University.
He is currently a PhD student in Applied Economics and Management at University of Pavia.
His research interests are around health care financing policies and strategic management in healthcare organizations.
Meda Francesca

Francesca Meda is Junior Fellow at SDA Bocconi School of Management in the Government, Health and Not For Profit division, She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Social Sciences and a master's degree in Economics and Management of Government and International Organizations, both from Bocconi University.
She is currently a PhD student in Management of Innovation, Sustainability and Healthcare at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies (Pisa), focusing on service design and service management for health and social care.
Her research interests and scientific publications mainly concern the topics of healthcare and social care management, service design, integrated and community care, welfare service management.
She employs mainly qualitative and mixed research methods.

Mangiaterra Viviana

Viviana Mangiaterra is Associate Professor of Practice at SDA Bocconi School of Management (Government, Health and Not for Profit Division).
She is also Member of the Global Health team at Cergas (Centre for Research on Health and Social Care Management).
She is the course scientific director in several SDA Bocconi executive courses: i) Access to Medicines in LMICs, ii) Hospital Management Simulation course, iii) The Academy in Health Care Management for hospitals and health care administrators.
She is at present the Director of the Master in International Health Management Economics and Policy (Mihmep), at SDA Bocconi. Viviana holds an MD, a master in Pediatrics and a PhD in Gastroenterology and Nutrition from Milano University.
She had a rewording professional global career in international public health, working for the WB, the WHO, in various capacities, gaining extensive country experience in Asia, Africa, Middle east and Eastern Europe. She was from 2014 to 2020 the Head of the Health System Strengthening/Maternal Child Health Division at the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
Main focus of her work in global health is on strategic planning; policy development; health system strengthening; technical advice for program implementation in the field of reproductive, maternal, child and adolescent health, gender, TB, HIV and Malaria; and partnership-building with a wide range of stakeholders.
Viviana is a Member of the GAVI Independent Review Committee (IRC) with focus on RSSH, MCH and Malaria; she is also member of the Access and Product Management Advisory Committee (APMAC) of Medicines for Malaria Venture and Senior Follow for Results (R4D) for Development where she provides support to R4D programs in Guinea and Togo.
Her research activity is focused on Health System Strengthening, HIV, Malaria, Maternal and Child Health, Policy and Management in global health, Access to medicine in LMICs.
She had her work published in many international and national journals.
Vecchi Veronica

Veronica Vecchi is Full Professor of Practice in Business & Government at SDA Bocconi School of Management and Director of research of the Government & Society Area of the GHNP Division.
She serves as Scientific Director of Masan, the SDA Bocconi/Cergas Observatory on public healthcare procurement; of Invest in Lab on public investments and of Impact Investing.
Her field of teaching (master, custom and open programs) and research are: public-private partnerships, public procurement, business & government collaborations for long term investments.
She is author of numerous scientific publications and international books on such topics.
Oprea Natalia

Natalia Oprea is a Research Fellow in the Government, Health and Not for Profit (GHNP) Division at SDA Bocconi School of Management.
She earned a Master's degree in Public Policies and Territorial Development from Deusto University, Spain and the PhD in Political Science at the University of Siena, Italy.
Natalia has contributed to international research projects, including Horizon2020 'Co-Val' project, Horizon Europe 'InGOV' project, and 'ShareView'.
Her research activities focus on the co-creation of public services, including patient engagement in health care, governance in healthcare, and the role of digital technologies in the provision of public services.
