Abstract

Dementia is expensive and most costs are incurred by families. While nondrug interventions improve patient and caregiver outcomes and may result in savings to all payers, there is a need for a framework for demonstrating value of nondrug interventions. Dr. Jutkowitz will present a dementia simulation model he developed to determine the value of nondrug interventions for dementia
