CERGAS Seminar "EU Country Cancer Profile: Italy 2025 ."

The Country Cancer Profiles series, published under the umbrella of the European Cancer Inequalities Registry, provides a regular reporting mechanism to assess cancer care and inequalities across the 27 EU Member States, Norway and Iceland. The Profiles, prepared by the OECD and the European Commission, are published every two years, with the first edition released in February 2023.
The Country Cancer Profile: Italy 2025 provides the latest insights on cancer burden, prevention and care in the country, identifying strengths, challenges and specific areas of action to guide investment and interventions in the country.

Speaker:

Caroline Berchet (PhD) is a health economist at the OECD Health Division, working on a broad variety of topics related to both data and policy analysis. Her work on data focuses on health system performance assessment framework and how to improve the current health information system. On the policy side, Caroline manages the OECD work on primary care and cancer care, and has also been working on quality and health care policies, and on health system efficiency across OECD countries.
