CERGAS Seminar "Bridging Stakeholders, Navigating Policies, and Turning Health Data into Action: A Bold Vision from the Czech Republic."
Across Europe, health systems are seeking ways to turn complex data into meaningful insights that guide policy and improve care. At the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, our team pursues this mission through advanced analytics of national administrative health data. We study patient pathways, treatment adherence, and time-to-therapy, while developing comparative analyses that reflect the highest standards of evidence-based evaluation.
Our work sits at the intersection of data, policy, and collaboration. In close partnership with the Health Insurance Bureau, the Ministry of Health, and national data custodians, we co-develop resort reports on oncological diseases that translate data into actionable intelligence for clinical and system-level improvement.
Beyond analysis, we operate a national indicator portal — a transparent, public platform visualizing healthcare performance metrics. Together, these initiatives illustrate a Czech model for bridging stakeholders, aligning data with policy, and transforming analytics into practical impact.
